In this age of interconnected information,

perhaps we've grown accustomed to instant communication and immediate interaction,

but have we ever thought about exchanging letters,

communicating with young people thousands of miles away,

learning about their lives, cultures, and dreams?

Understanding them also means understanding ourselves.

"What kind of life do you want to live?"

Today is May 4th, Youth Day,

We, in collaboration with the youth organization "Chinese Youth in Europe",

are issuing a call for Chinese and European youth!

In this era full of change and opportunities,

we deeply understand that cross-cultural communication is a window to broaden perspectives.

Are you curious about the lives of Chinese youth too?

Do they study and work without any pressure?

Do they have concerns about facing wars?

Do they choose lives that are not accepted by the majority?

These questions, perhaps, might find unexpected answers through letter exchanges.

Time takes away many things,

but what it leaves behind is more precious.

Embark on a journey of letter friendship across borders with Chinese youth!

【Event Details】

Welcome all youth who are passionate about cross-cultural exchange to participate!

We will manually match you based on your information.
Pen Friend matches will be notified after one month : To ensure the quality of the event, for the first three months, all correspondence will be mediated by the organizers. Should both parties decide to deepen their communication, after three months, the organizers will provide each party with the other's contact email. From that point on, the parties can communicate directly without further involvement from the organizers.

【Participant Requirements】

Ages between 20-35 years old
Proficient in English for communication (Chinese is also acceptable)
Desire to connect with Chinese youth and understand the world through their perspective
Interested in experiencing a slower pace of life in our fast-paced society
